1. Product Overview
This custom-engineered valve is supplied in DN200 / NPS 8 and is mainly suitable for power plant main steam lines, high-temperature and high-pressure steam systems, high-pressure feedwater lines, coal chemical high-pressure process pipelines, and high-temperature, high-pressure shut-off service in petrochemical refining applications.
The valve is designed, manufactured, and tested in strict accordance with ASME B16.34, ASME B16.25, ASME B16.10, API 598, and applicable power plant project specifications.
2. Materials & Integral-Forged Construction
The valve body is integrally forged from high-temperature Cr-Mo alloy steels such as ASTM A182 F91, F22, F11, and 12Cr1MoV, or project-specified forged steel materials, with material selection available according to the actual temperature, pressure, and service medium.
The material provides a dense microstructure and strong pressure-bearing capability, making the valve suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure, thermal cycling, and long-term continuous operation conditions.
3. Pressure Seal Bonnet & Sealing Performance
The valve is equipped with a pressure seal bonnet structure, helping improve bonnet sealing reliability under high-pressure operating conditions.
The sealing surfaces can be overlaid with Stellite alloy or other hard-facing alloy materials according to service requirements, improving resistance to erosion, wear, and thermal fatigue.
4. Manufacturing Difficulty & Quality Control
As a DN200 high-pressure integral-forged gate valve, this product involves higher manufacturing complexity compared with conventional small-bore forged steel valves, placing stricter requirements on forging quality, heat treatment control, machining accuracy, sealing surface processing, and pressure testing.
From forging control, heat treatment, precision machining, assembly and adjustment to shell testing and seat testing, the entire manufacturing process is strictly carried out in accordance with high-temperature and high-pressure valve manufacturing standards to ensure stable and reliable performance under severe service conditions.
5. Butt Weld Connection & Application Flexibility
The valve adopts Butt Weld / BW ends, forming a stable and reliable welded transition with the pipeline and reducing the risk of external leakage at high-pressure pipeline connections.
It is especially suitable for continuous operation services such as power plant steam lines, high-pressure feedwater lines, and high-temperature, high-pressure industrial pipeline systems.
According to project requirements, the valve can be operated by handwheel, gearbox, or electric actuator. Final material, pressure rating, structural design, end dimensions, inspection requirements, and scope of supply shall be subject to the technical documents confirmed by the Owner, EPC, or End User.
